Indicated

Indicated is the graveyard surrounding the lost medieval parish church of Julianstown, where masonry walls still mark a subrectangular space once broad enough to stretch ninety-five metres in the nineteenth century. The change in shape suggests people kept using, moving or remembering the ground long after the church itself disappeared. What is missing is not emptiness; it is the kind of absence that makes a place harder to forget.
