The fairy fort or ringfort in Irishtown (rathconrath By.) is in County Westmeath, Ireland. This D-shaped area, measuring 47.5 metres in diameter from east to west, sits on a grassy ridge that slopes away to the north and south. The enclosure is defined by a straight field fence running east to west at the north, a straight earth-covered stone wall fence running north-northwest to south-southeast, and a curving fence of similar construction from the north through east to south. The interior is domed, and a local tradition speaks of an opening to a cave within the site.

Situated on a ridge in grassland which slopes away to the N & S. not depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. A large D-shaped area (diam. 47.5m E-W) enclosed by a straight field fence running E-W at N (max. Wth 3m), and a straight NNW-SSE field fence (Wth 2m; H 0.2m) consisting of an earth-covered stone wall, and from N-E-S a curving field fence of similar construction. The interior is domed.
