What is recorded here
Described in 1912 as ‘The group of Ogham stones are seven in number. They are on a round green hill on the land of Mr. Horgan, near Blackhill, who takes an interest in them and will protect them.’ (Marshall 1912, 43-4) None of these stones (KE047-079----, KE047-079001-, KE047-079002-, KE047-079003-, KE047-079004-, KE047-079005-, KE047-079006-) have been located and the evidence is not sufficient to warrant accepting them as genuine examples of the ogham stone class.
