What is recorded here

Marked as a circular feature (diam. c. 30-35m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a chord surviving S of an E-W field bank on the 1924 ed. It is situated on a SE-facing slope. A small section of bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.2m) with a slight external fosse (Wth of top 3.5m; D 0.5m) survives SE-SW (C 26m) on the S side of an E-W field bank. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
