What is recorded here

Roadside, built into slope. Front elevation (H 4.95m; Wth 5.7m) N-facing; relieving arch over lintelled recess (H 2.16m; Wth 2.05m; D 2m). Funnel (diam. 2.2m) partially filled with rubble. Trackway around side of kiln to funnel area. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
