In pasture, built against slight slope. Front (H c. 10m; Wth 7m) W-facing; arched recess (H 2.05m; Wth c. 3m; D 3.1m) with sloping slabs to rear, stoking hole evident. Arched niches on N and S sides of recess. Funnel stone-lined. Ramp to E, N and S walls buttressed. Top of kiln enclosed by stone wall (H 1.5m) with window opes in N, S and W sides and entrance (Wth 2.6m) to E.
