On the SW-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge, c. 150m from a SE-NW section of the River Suck, which lies to the SW. A grass-covered roadway (Wth 6.7m) runs ESE (L 66m) from the E angle of the bawn (RO041-031002-) associated with the fortified house (RO041-031001-). The road is defined by a stone spread at N and a scarp (max. H 1m) at S.
