At the E end of the crest of a low E-W drumlin ridge. Subrectangular grass and scrub-covered area (dims 35.5m E-W; 27.6m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank which only survives in its original state (Wth 8.8m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 3.9m) NNE-SE, being incorporated into straight sections of overgrown field bank (Wth 1.8-2.9m; int. H 0.3-0.8m; ext. H 1.2-1.7m) elsewhere. Slight traces of a fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.2m) survive SE-SW. There is an entrance (Wth 3m), possibly original but enlarged, at SE. Rath (RO023-015----) is c. 30m to the NW.
