Located on a low rise in rolling pasture with gradual fall of ground to SE towards the Palmerstown River. There is rath (MA015-030----) c. 150m to SSE.
This possible ringfort is shown on the1838 and 1922 OS maps as a circular enclosure (diam. 25-30m). It was levelled during land reclamation works; there is no visible trace at ground level.
