Located on a N-facing slope, in pasture. A circular area (diam. 45m E-W) surrounded by an inner earth and gravel bank (Wth 2m; int. H 1.16m; ext. H 1.91m), a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 4.2m; D 1.32m) and an outer bank (Wth 1m; ext. H 0.55m). The fosse is particularly wide and waterlogged at N where the inner bank has been reduced to a scarp. The outer bank, composed of earth and stone, has been augmented and maintained as a field boundary, except at S where it is reduced to a scarp. A break (Wth 1.6m) in the inner and outer banks at SE may be entrance feature.
