On level and improved pastureland just W of a derelict farmhouse and outbuildings within a field system (CL006-036001-). Indicated by a solid line on the 1842 and 1915 editions of the OS 6-inch maps. The site has been levelled from SE to SW, allowing the interior to run into and form part of the large field to the S. The surviving wall from SW to SE is a tall well-built wall of mixed single and double walling but with no visible cashel-like facing stones. The small enclosure abutting the site at NW (shown on the 1916 OS 6-inch map) is a single-walled animal pen and probably fairly modern. A Man-made underground passage (CL006-036010-) is marked within the enclosure on Robinson’s map (1999 [1977]), however, no trace was found during a field inspection (1997). Several cashels and enclosures (CL006-036002-, CL006-036003-, CL006-036004-, CL006-036005- and CL006-036007-) lie within the field system with the most adjacent (CL006-036004-) located c. 100m to the W.
