Just off the crest of an E-W ridge, on the S-facing slope. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 34.1m E-W; 33.3m N-S) defined by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 3-4.6m; Wth of top 1.4-2.5m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 1-1.6m) and hedge separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.3-6.3m; Wth of base 3.2-4m; D 0.4m at S to 1.9m at N) from an outer bank (Wth 1.6-3.7m; ext. H 0.4m at W to 1.4m at E), which has been removed NE-ESE (max. ext. dim. 53.7m N-S). The original entrance is not identified. Rath (RO032-052----) is c. 150m to the NNW.
