On the gentle SE-facing slope towards the N end of a low NE-SW ridge. Oval grass-covered area (dims 39m NW-SE; 27m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.3-0.4m; ext. 0.9-H 1.1m) and hedge with an outer fosse (Wth of top 5m; Wth of base 2.8m; D 0.3-04m). There is an entrance (Wth 2m) at E.
