At the W edge of a level terrace under rough pasture, in a multiperiod field system (CL005-014001-). Indicated on the 1842 and 1916 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). A poorly preserved roughly circular cashel (int. dims. 16m E-W; 15m N-S; ext. dims. 20.9m E-W; 20.1m N-S) defined by an internally and externally faced wall (Wth 2-2.5m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 0.3-1.1m). The interior is filled with grassed-over collapsed stone that may conceal the foundations of structures. A later wall (H c. 0.9m) runs on the outer face from NE to SE and a square enclosure (CL005-268----) lies c. 40m to the E.
