In rough grazing, on edge of break in slope, looking N along valley. Circular area (26m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by ruinous stone wall (H 0.8m; T 2m); topped by later wall. Interior slopes gently down to NE; some large stones protrude from ground, especially in NE quadrant. Possibly fort called 'Cathair Bhan' by Broker (1937, 46) in Denis Buckley's farm in this townland.
