What is recorded here

On an E-facing slope in grassland adjacent to a stream. According to local information, this is a children's burial ground. It is rectangular in plan (int. dims. 14.7m E-W; 11m N-S) and is defined by a low wide earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.7m), which is heavily overgrown with trees and bushes, and an external fosse (Wth c. 1.5m; D 0.3m). No grave-markers are visible.
