Marked as a subrectangular enclosure (dim. c. 30m) on the 1840 ed. (Galway 19) of the OS 6-inch map, and as an arc of hachures (C c. 40m NE-SW) on the 1927 ed. Situated on the N-facing slope towards the W end of a WNW-ESE ridge. An arc (C c. 20m) of an earthen bank (Wth 3.2-5.9m; int. H 0.25-0.4m; ext. H 0.3-1.2m) and fosse (Wth of top 8.8m; Wth of base 2.4m; D 0.5-0.8m) survives ENE-S, but the outer edge of the fosse is damaged SE-S. There is an entrance (Wth 4m) through the bank at SSE, but the rest of the perimeter cannot be traced.
