Petrie (Stokes 1867, 249) noted that the site was disturbed in 1837 and consisted of twenty stones, but no chamber. Five boulders now form a slight curve (L c. 7m) (ACP V203/93-4; Herity 1974, 269, SL 64; Kitchin 1983, 172; Bergh 1995, 197, Carrowmore 47). This is a National Monument in State care (No. 153).
