On elevated, rough pasture in a multiperiod field system (CL005-115001-). Indicated on the 1916 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996).
A poorly preserved circular cashel (int. dims. 21.5m N-S; 23.5m E-W) defined from W to ESE by a grassed-over bank of earth and stone (Wth 2.2-3.3m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.6-0.8m) and from ESE to W by a scarp (H 0.2-0.7m) with no clear entrance. Carricklahan cashel (CL005-082----) lies c. 120m to the NNE.
