What is recorded here
This rectangular building (11.5m N-S; 5.55m E-W) is part of the monastic complex known as na Seacht Teampaill/the Seven Churches and is c. 15m to the SSE of Teampall Bhreacáin/Temple Brecan (GA110-010001-). It is constructed of roughly coursed limestone masonry. There is a pointed arch doorway in the E wall and opposite it in the W wall are the remains of another doorway, to the S of which there is a two-light ogee-headed window. Niches are evident at the E end of the N wall and the S end of the E wall (Waddell 1973, 15-16, Building H). An internal division, to the N of the doorways, is not bonded into the E or W walls. (Gosling 1993, 63, no. 349)
