What is recorded here
Situated on the top of a hill, c. 55m SW of Doonmulvihill burial ground (CL018-033001-). The base of a solid, rectangular, mortared tower (max. H 2.5m; L at SW 3m; L at NW 2.6m). The SE side has four steps protruding and another at the bottom may be missing. The steps lead to the base of a doorway (Wth 0.6m) through a wall (T 0.6m) indicating that the tower was higher originally. It may have been built by the Butlers of Bunahow (pers. comm. T. Coffey, SMR file).
