In pasture, located on elevated ground. There is a stream 30m downslope to S, which coincides with the S boundary of the townland.
Slightly raised circular area (diam. 20m N-S) defined by a bank (Wth 2.8-3m; int H 0.2m; ext. H 0.7-1.8m) of earth and stone. The bank has a low stony internal rim, but the external slope is well defined, built up on the SW arc (Wth ext. slope 4.5m; ext. H 1.8m) to compensate for the natural slope and create a level interior. At NNE-SE it is incorporated into/or adapted to serve as a field boundary, maintaining the curve of the rath. There is an area of surface erosion/disturbed ground on the perimeter at SE.
