On a slight S-facing slope. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 29m N-S; 11m E-W) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 0.8-1.1m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.3-0.4m) S-W-N. It has been truncated by a N-S field bank at E and does not survive E of this feature. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance but there is a D-shaped quarry (dims 16m N-S; 6m E-W; D 0.35-0.45m) at the centre of the surviving part. Rath (RO034-091----) is c. 90m to the SE.
