Towards the top of the WSW-facing slope of a small drumlin. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 27.85m NE-SW; 26.25m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 2.8m at SE to 4m at SW; int. H 0.1-0.4m; ext. H 0.7-1m) NE-S-SW and a scarp (H 0.4-0.7m) elsewhere. There is a fosse (Wth of base 3.3m) NNE-E which is represented by a band of wet ground (Wth 3-4m) elsewhere, but there is no visible entrance. Archaeological testing (11E0012) immediately to the W produced no related material (Kyle 2011). Rath (RO007-089----) is c. 170m to the NW and rath (RO011-020001-) is c. 110m to the E.
