Marked on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small island (diam. c. 10m) in a small bay (dims. c. 50m x. c. 50m) at the N corner of Cloonacolly Lough (dims. c. 1-1.3km NW-SE; c. 500-600m NE-SW), and now situated on low-lying ground on its W shore. It is not visible at ground level in poorly drained pasture and it may well be beneath a NNE-SSW road. Mound (RO013-029----) is on the shore c. 180m to the NE.
