Towards the top of a NE-facing slope overlooking Shad Lough, c. 600m to the NE. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 58m NE-SW; 50m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.6-3.2m; int. H 0.1-0.25m; ext. H 0.3-0.95m), with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.5m; D 0.2m) SE-SSW. There is an entrance (Wth 6m) at W, and the monument is divided by a NE-SW field bank and drains NW of the centre. Rath (RO028-201----) is c. 210m to the WSW.
