What is recorded here
In pasture, located on top of a ridge. There is a stream 230m to SW.
Slightly raised circular area (29m N-S; 30.7m E-W) defined by a low, sod-covered stone bank. A basal course of large stones and boulders can be seen on the external face at SE−SSW, and in parts at N.
The interior is level. A Man-made underground passage (MA072-009002) is indicated in the W half on the 1930 OS 6-inch map; it is evident as a series of surface depressions extending through the interior.
Two field walls cross the interior, intersecting in a T-shaped arrangement: one on a sinuous NE-SW line to E of centre, the other perpendicular to the latter, extending through the NW quadrant.
The perimeter on the NW arc is obscured by gorse.
