In pasture, on low-lying gently undulating terrain with marshy area to NE. Oval area (62m NE-SW; 37m NW-SE) enclosed by earthen bank, with external fosse (Wth 1.6m; D 0.3m) SW->N. Bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.4m) is generally well preserved but denuded by cattle at W. Entrance (Wth 4.5m) at SSW. Buildings shown abutting external bank face at S on 1923 OS 6-inch map have been removed; remains of stone built pier and enclosing wall survive SSE->S. Field boundary with shallow field drain on W side abuts bank at NNE. Interior, under pasture and used as a paddock, slopes down to NE. Similar enclosures lies 30m to W (LI038-160---) and 30m to SW (LI038-161---).
