Westropp (1904-5, 432) recorded the following details about Camus Kyle; 'A detached part of Monasternenagh. The grange of Camus and Cellseanig were granted to Magio in 1185 (charter). Camus, in Killoc deanery, dedicated to St. Senan, 1410. "Capella de Camus spect ad mon de May," 1418 and 1615. Camus, in Krean, "parish,"1586 (Peyton, p.13) Site - A burial ground'. No surface remains visible of church dedicated to St. Senan (O'Kelly 1944, 45). A small building is depicted standing in centre of Kyle Burial Ground (LI031-118002-) on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map.
