Situated on a NW facing slope in average pasture land. L-shaped field boundary depicted in this area on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. Present remains consist of a roughly circular area (approx. diam. 40m N-S) enclosed by the slight remains of a wide low earth and stone bank with wide shallow external fosse. A field fence and old roadway intersect the perimeter of the earthwork from SSE-S-SSW destroying the bank and fosse. At W the widened roadway running roughly N-S cuts across the bank and through the W quadrant of the interior.
