What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular earthen ringfort in County Mayo, Ireland, rising two metres above undulating pasture. It measures twenty-five metres north-south and thirty-one metres east-west, forming a rough circle that may have sheltered people or excluded them. The clay wall still stands where hands built it, unchanged while empires rose and fell around it.

In undulating pasture. Roughly circular raised area (25m N-S; 31m E-W), defined by scarp (H 2m). Shown on OS map (1838) as circular area enclosed by earthen bank. Possibly a ringfort.
