Marked as an oval enclosure (dims. c. 40m E-W; c. 30m N-S) bisected by a N-S lane on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on a slight E-facing slope of a broad plateau. D-shaped, grass-covered area (dims. 26m N-S; 14m E-W) defined by a slight scarp to the E of the N-S laneway. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 27th July, 2010.
