On the crest of the N-facing slope a low WNW-ESE ridge. Circular area planted with mature deciduous trees (int. diam. 41.3m NW-SE; 39.9m NE-SW) defined by a stone wall (Wth 5.4m at SW to 6.6m at SE; H 1.5-2.2m) SE-W-NE and a stone spread elsewhere, with evidence of terracing SE-SW in the facing stones within the wall. There is a collapsed mural chamber (dims 8.6m x 2.5m) at WNW with a doorway (Wth 1m) on the inner face of the cashel wall at its SW end. The stone-lined entrance (Wth 2m; L 6.8m) is at SE.
