Towards the bottom of a NE-facing slope. Circular grass and scrub-covered platform (diam. 35.6m N-S; 33.1m E-W) defined by an overgrown scarp (H 0.5-0.8m) SW-W-NE, with an earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.75m) on the perimeter separated by a berm (Wth 3m) from an outer bank (Wth 2.3m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.2m) NE-E. A stone wall defines the perimeter E-SW, but there is a quarry inside it, and a NE-SW field wall overlies the interior towards the perimeter at NW. There is an entrance (Wth 6m) at E, and a modern entrance at SSW.
