Internal diam. c. 15m N-S, 24m E-W This site, one of a group of four cahers, is located on a natural terrace 150m S of KE089-038----. It consists of a very poorly preserved subcircular enclosure, within which is a ruined hut and a rectangular sheepfold. The enclosing wall measures 2.3m wide on average and survives up to 1.2m high. It is faced internally and externally with large slabs, and much stone collapse abuts its external face. A 1.45m wide entrance gap occurs at NE, and is flanked on its N side by a large, 1.1m high, upright slab. In the stony interior of the caher are the remains of a subrectangular hut (KE089-039001-) with internal dimensions of 2.6m x 2m. Its walls are .9m high and .8m wide. Towards the centre of the site is a relatively modern sheepfold, measuring 8.4m x 4.7m. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
