Cross in Inchcleraun — Report the wrong picture

Inchcleraun monastic cashel, County Longford: an unfinished pyramidal cross base lies on the SSE edge beside Romanesque jamb-stones and a bullaun stone, near a possible cobbled path to a church 55m WSW. The cross never received its top, as if the maker left the sky empty on purpose. Whoever walked that path may have believed completion belonged elsewhere, in breath or distance rather than stone.

Situated on SSE edge of Inchcleraun monastic cashel (LF021-048----) beside Romanesque decorated jamb-stones and a bullaun stone, on a possible cobbled pathway leading from the monastery to a possible church (LF021-048007-) located 55m to WSW. Unfinished roughly dressed pyramidal-shaped cross base lying on the surface of the ground beside several other worked stones of unknown antiquity.
