Situated on a natural hillock in gently undulating pasture-land with good views in all directions. Ringfort (WM008-019----) 200m to SE. This site has been almost completely levelled, now visible only as a band of vegetation (Wth 4m). Depicted as a sub-rectangular shaped area on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. The interior of the ringfort has vague traces of two rectangular hut sites (WM008-016001-/016002-).
