Hut site in Fán

Clochán an Gharraí Chluanaigh: On lower S slopes of Mount Eagle. Three circular conjoined huts now reduced to a large stone cairn, with short sections of the basal course of the outer and inner wall faces, formed by low upright slabs, still visible. The central structure was c. 3.9m in diameter, the N one c. 2m, but the S hut has almost completely disappeared. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
