A poorly preserved circular hut (KE089-040001-) is located in the interior of the caher. It has an internal diameter of 5m, and its wall survives .9m high and 1.4m wide. An entrance gap, 1.6m wide, occurs at SW. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'.
