This Neolithic House Site, No. 5, is part of Eogan's Phase 3 Decorated Pottery complex: Domestic activity - Zone F, which is located between Tombs 15, 16, and 17. This phase, now called Middle Neolithic, is associated with the building of the tombs and dated to c. 3500-2900 cal. BC (Eogan and Cleary 2017, 41). House site No. 5 consisted of an arc (diam. c. 6m) of 6 stake-holes in an area with 108 stake-holes. Including Neolithic House 4, the finds were few but there included sherds from at least 2 decorated vessels and 6 Carrowkeel ware vessels. (Eogan and Roche 1997, 58-60)
