What is recorded here

Gallán is a leaning standing stone in Mid Cork, recorded in a modern archaeological inventory but absent from both 1842 and 1904 maps. It rises 1.3 metres through level pasture, subrectangular and tilted west beside visible packing stones. That discrepancy suggests human memory, survey blindness or deliberate concealment rather than ordinary neglect.
