Battle of Inverlochy I is a major battle site with a checked map point.
Fought in 1335 between forces loyal to Robert the Bruce and a Scottish rebel army led by Donald, Earl of Mar. The Bruce's forces won a decisive victory, reinforcing royal authority in the north and suppressing opposition during the later stages of the Wars of Scottish Independence.
