Battle of Inverlochy Ii is a major battle site with a checked map point.
The Battle of Inverlochy II was fought in 1645 between the forces of the Marquess of Montrose, led by James Graham, and the Scottish Covenanters under General David Leslie. Montrose's victory was significant as it temporarily halted Covenanter advances and bolstered Royalist efforts in Scotland during the Wars of the Three Kingdoms.
