USS R. Buckley was a United States Navy minesweeper, originally built as a trawler in 1919 and later converted for naval service. It was lost on 28 April 1942 during the Battle of the Atlantic when it was torpedoed and sunk by the German U-boat U-66 off the coast of North Carolina, resulting in the loss of 21 crew members.
