Narberth Castle

Steam Trawler (period Unassigned)-(1917)

Why this matters

Narberth Castle was a steam trawler built in 1917 and later used for fishing and possibly salvage work. It was lost in 1940 during World War II after striking a mine off the coast of Scotland, resulting in the deaths of all 34 crew members; its wreck remains a significant war memorial and diving site.
