Why this matters

Cubbie Roo's Castle at Wyre is traditionally associated with Rognvald "Cobbler" of the House of Orkney, and is said to have been built in the 12th century. It is remembered as a legendary stronghold linked to Norse-Gaelic history in the Western Isles.
