Skinnet Chapel

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Skinnet Chapel as Chapel (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Skinnet Chapel is associated with local traditions of healing and pilgrimage, typical of many medieval chapels in Scotland. Though specific saints or cures are not recorded, such sites were often linked to folkloric practices involving holy wells or sacred spaces for prayer and offerings.
