Latheron

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Latheron as Ogham Inscribed Stone (pictish), Pictish Symbol Stone (pictish). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Latheron is likely from the Early Medieval period, associated with the Picts, and features an ogham inscription and symbolic carvings, possibly denoting territorial boundaries or commemorative purposes. Its meaning remains largely undeciphered, but such stones often held ritual or social significance in Pictish society.
