Knoydart, Inverie holds a possible medieval castle and mound above the Highland edge, where stone and soil still mark human ambition. The exact point remains known though the building has faded, leaving behind a shape rather than a room. That uncertainty is not a failure, but an invitation to imagine how many hands may have built, abandoned or forgotten the place before it became quiet.
