Dalcross Castle is an early 17th century tower-built castle in Highland, Scotland, built in 1621 by the 8th Lord Lovat. The M'Intoshes bought it in 1702, added a North wing in 1703, and inserted their arms with the date 1720 above the entrance. The castle was restored for habitation in 1897-8 and remained lived in when visited in 1964. Its walled garden and east courtyard buildings complete a house that still feels like a working home rather than a dead monument.

Dalcross Castle was built in the 13th century by the powerful Clan Mackay, a prominent Highland Scottish clan. It is remembered as a strategic stronghold in the northern Scottish Highlands and as an example of medieval defensive architecture in the region.
